The Black Shrew

 

The Black Shrew is one of the endangered animals in Malaysia. It's rarely seen by humans, and it's on the brink of extinction.
 

The Sumatran Rhinoceros

 

The Sumatran Rhinoceros is another endangered creature that lives in Malaysia. It's the smallest rhinoceros known to humans, only 500-800 kilograms. It's hunted for its horn. 

 

The Orangutan

 

The Orangutan is an endangered species as well. There are two types, the critically endangered Sumatran species and the endangered Bornean species. Both are at risk of becoming extinct.

Malaysia is one of the twelve mega-diverse countries in the world. It is home to tens of thousands of species of plants and animals. But sadly, some are dying off and becoming endangered., such as the Orangutan, the lovable species of ape.
